Overview
This position is in the QC Primary Packaging & Raw Material Team, based in the Stücki Tech Park site in Basel, Switzerland. For our successful Drug Product focused branch located in Basel and Stein, Switzerland, we have exciting opportunities. - Perform and review incoming goods testing of primary packaging and raw materials under cGMP
- Define specifications and plan analytical testing for raw materials; author and approve QC documentation
- Implement and validate analytical methods; keep QC records accurate and current
- Execute raw material releases, for cGMP manufacturing and engineering runs, per procedures
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to meet project milestones and support production
- Serve as a subject matter expert and train colleagues in key analytical techniques
- Vocational Training as Laboratory Technician or related field with minimum 5-7 years of experience or
B.S, M.S in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field, with 3-5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry or closely related field, ideally in a comparable role - Solid understanding and application of cGMP
- Hands-on experience testing excipients and primary packaging components with relevant methods and instruments
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented
- Effective collaborator with strong teamwork skills
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, German is a plus
