What you’ll do
  • Monitoring and enforcement of technical changes and product measures (development orders, program items, change requests, change controls, deviation approvals)
  • Implementation milestone responsibility for purchased parts of the BRUV and CPUP vehicles for assembly, body shop, paint
  • Preparation and documentation of new parts meetings with the departments involved
  • Supporting introduction of new systems and processes within pre‑series logistics
  • Assist with review of technical documents, bill of materials entries, checking for plausibility and completeness. Coordinate with technical development and initiate corrections in source systems.
  • Tracking complaints from technical offices, JIT/purchase parts areas, and planning, initiating measures for solution and correction
  • Manual correction of the Bill of Materials in the event of missing or faulty BOM items
  • Participation in specialist group meetings, representing and justifying logistical concerns
  • Support vehicle BOM testing of planned pre‑series vehicles (VFF, PVS, 0 series) against the technical logistical BOM
  • Analyze vehicle‑specific issues for pre‑series vehicles
  • Role based out of Scout Motors in Columbia, South Carolina
  • Attendance in office with in‑person meetings and events is required
  • Occasional travel to participate in company events
What you’ll bring
  • 0‑2 years of professional experience in logistics or production environment; automotive industry advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Experience in data management a plus
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage complexity
  • Collaborative team‑player with strong interpersonal skills at all hierarchical levels
  • Understanding of production environment and affinity for complex IT systems
  • Experience with Power BI and data models a plus

Pay Transparency

Full‑time, exempt position eligible for base salary and annual performance bonus program. Base salary range: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00. Internal leveling code: IC10.
