Cross Med is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Mullins, South Carolina.

• Provide patient care in the Med Surg setting as part of a travel RN assignment.
• Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
• Monitor patients’ responses to interventions and report outcomes.
• Coordinate and communicate with physicians and other health team members.
• Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and after procedures depending on unit.
• Share on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required.
• Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies; transport patients as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• At minimum 1 - 2 years’ experience preferred
• Graduate from an accredited school
• Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
• Physical abilities – remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment (50-100 lbs), pushing, bending and pulling
• Strong communication and collaboration with physicians and other health team members
• Ability to provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members
• Ability to monitor patients’ responses to interventions and report outcomes
• Knowledge of medication administration and documentation
• Ability to work with diverse personnel and handle responsibilities in a dynamic environment
• Maintains cleanliness and stocking of supplies; supports patient transport as needed

• Interpersonal skills for working with diverse personnel with a professional demeanor
• Technical skills to assist with procedures and operate departmental equipment
• Cognitive skills to manage interactions, deadlines, and supervision needs
• Sensory skills for effective communication and patient care

Cross Med Job . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Posted job title:
