Responsibilities

• Prepares, stores, and transports specimens using correct safety protocols.
• Pick up specimens from various locations in a timely manner.
• Acknowledges all clients with respect and consideration.
• Handle all problems adhering to McLeod guidelines and proper channels.
• Follows all safety and infection control protocols.
• Demonstrates cost awareness through proper use of supplies.
• Informs supervisor of problems with assigned duties and request assistance when needed.
• Demonstrates regularity in attendance.
• Displays professionalism in all aspects of the job.
• Demonstrates confidence and assurance in job duties.

• Valid driver s license and a clean driving record are required.

Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses.
