Licensed Practical Nurse, Operating Room, Cheraw

• Delegates selected tasks while retaining accountability for outcome.
• The Licensed Practical Nurse performs patient care activities that are delegated and supervised by the Registered Nurse to an assigned patient group. He/she may perform direct patient care for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient with a wide variety of medical/surgical conditions.
• The Licensed Practical Nurses may supervise Nursing Assistants or Technicians assigned to patients under her/his care.
• The Licensed Practical Nurse contributes to the nursing process through data collection, completion of nursing interventions, and input into the plan of care.
• He/she may perform direct patient care for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient with a wide variety of medical/surgical conditions.
• Complies with dress code, hospital policy, policy related to absence and tardiness.

Qualifications/Training

• Two years’ work experience

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education

• Must possess a valid SC license- LPN, BLS

Work Schedule

• Full-time, 80 hours bi-weekly;
  Call required
• Required call response time within 1-hour
• Regular business hours are Mon-Fri, Days, (no weekends)
