Job Description
This influential leader will shape the narrative around Oracle events, providing direction for integrated communications across email, web, social, and emerging media with the goal of driving the right audience, generating demand, and converting engagement to pipeline and sales. This is a hands‑on role that requires creative vision, operational rigor, and deep expertise in global marketing communications and demand generation.
This role will lead the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Software business management experience, and Marketing experience in the high‑tech industry preferred. Proven leadership skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 5 – 7 years previous people management experience.
Academic credentials desirable. Past experience in event communications desirable.
Develop and lead the communications strategy for Oracle and Net Suite global events, ensuring consistent messaging that aligns with organizational objectives and brand voice.
Oversee the planning, creation, and execution of all content pieces—including emails, social campaigns, web content, press releases, and partner communications—across global teams and localized channels.
Leverage data‑driven insights to optimize audience targeting, segmentation, and personalization, maximizing event registrations, engagement, and post‑event conversions.
Drive demand generation efforts in partnership with marketing operations and sales teams to build pipeline and accelerate sales cycles through high‑impact communications.
Guide internal and external communications, ensuring alignment across functions and seamless collaboration between content, creative, digital, and regional teams.
Measure and report on communication effectiveness, adapting tactics to ensure continuous improvement and achievement of business goals.
Provide executive‑level communications support, including event briefings and results.
Mentor and lead a global team of communications professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and operational excellence.
Continuously assess external agency partners and new technologies to enhance Oracle’s communications capabilities.
Stay ahead of global trends in event marketing, demand generation, and digital communications, adopting best practices to keep Oracle at the forefront of event communications innovation.

US:
Hiring Range in USD from: $120,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off:
Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non‑overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits.
