You will serve as a mechanical subject matter expert, ensuring the peak performance of complex industrial production machinery. This role empowers you to lead high-stakes mechanical rebuilds and implement predictive maintenance strategies that directly impact global manufacturing output.
How You Will Make an Impact- Execute comprehensive mechanical rebuilds on critical equipment including gearboxes, pumps, and high-speed rotating components.
- Diagnose complex mechanical and pneumatic malfunctions using technical documentation and advanced diagnostic tools.
- Perform predictive maintenance techniques such as vibration analysis and thermography to identify potential failures before they occur.
- Fabricate precision repair parts and components utilizing machine shop equipment like lathes, end mills, and grinders.
- Mentor junior technicians by providing hands‑on training and sharing best practices for mechanical reliability and safety.
- Utilize the CMMS to track work orders, analyze equipment history, and perform detailed root cause analysis on mechanical failures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by creating Bills of Materials (BOMs) and executing quick Kaizen projects.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 8 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in advanced mechanical rebuilds of gearboxes, pumps, and conveyor systems.
- Experience with 3‑phase electrical systems (up to 480V) and automated control diagnostics.
- Ability to work 12‑hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical capability to lift 50 lbs. and work in non‑temperature‑controlled industrial settings.
- Successful completion of the Ramsey Multi‑Skill Maintenance Diagnostic Test (Raw score 65–74).
- Associate’s degree in Mechatronics or Industrial Technology.
- Professional certifications such as CMRT (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician).
- Proficiency in interpreting PLC programs and ladder logic for mechanical synchronization.
- Advanced knowledge of welding, fabrication, and industrial rigging using hoists and cranes.
