Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Assembly Technician II, 1st Shift.
The hourly rate for this position is $18.00 per hour. The hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.
This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:
The Assembler II is responsible for meeting daily production targets with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, delivery, inventory management, and productivity. This role focuses on assembling Low Voltage Assemblies and performing all associated tasks, including those assigned to Assembler I positions (Flex and Lean), as well as assembly machine operation. Additional responsibilities include Power
Wave2 hi-pot testing, label creation, quality verification, and completing material transactions in AS400.
• May be required to obtain or maintain QEW certification to perform electrical testing on assemblies, as applicable.
• Use a variety of fixtures, gauges, and assembly tools to assemble, adjust, or repair components.
• Perform layout work and operate tools such as drills, saws, punches, riveters, caulking equipment, and painting tools as needed.
• Apply identification labels to completed assemblies.
• Retrieve and deliver materials to the assembly line to support production flow.
• Prepare assemblies for shipment or storage as part of the final assembly process.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and WSRA requirements.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and method sheets.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Follow written and verbal instructions from supervisors.
• Conduct visual inspections of materials before and after assembly.
• Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet all specifications.
• Support other production areas or perform duties of other positions as needed.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- 6 months of manufacturing experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- 6 months of experience using hand and air (pneumatic) tools
