GREAT OPPORTUNITY AND GREAT PAY!!

Olsten Staffing is assisting Schneider Electric in their search for Custom Bus Assemblers. These are temporary to permanent positions. As Custom Bus Assembler, you will assemble complex configurations of bus bars up to 6 laminations.

Requirements:

• Must be able to follow all engineering as well as custom designed bus bar diagrams.
• Ability to think logically to create complex layouts of supporting systems given general rules and guidelines.
• Able to work under stress of deadlines and constant changes to design of assemblies. Much of activity includes holding bus bars overhead while inserting hardware.
• Must be able to safely operate drill press, band saw, grinders, cutters, and any other required tool needed to perform nonstandard installations. Will be expected to perform any task assigned.
• Must be willing to work overtime on short notice to expedite customer needs.
• Must have positive internal and external customer service attitude.
• Knowledge of Standard Assembly. Previous experience in Switchboards Standard Connectors preferred.
• Candidate should be energetic, self-motivated, and possess a good work record.
• Position requires lifting and holding in place assembly parts weighting up to 35 lbs. repeatedly over work period.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, blue prints, material lists, and other source material.
• Candidate must be highly motivated and self-directed with ability to work in a team environment. Must possess a good work record

Qualifications:

• Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must have at least 1 year assembly experience doing mechanical assembly., working an assembly line is not comparable.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

1stshift positions, Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pmwith overtime on Fridays, sometimes Saturdays. 2nd shift positions, Monday to Thursday, 3:30pm to 2am with overtime on Fridays, sometimes Saturdays.
Candidates must be able to work these hours, schedule changes to a morning shift are not permitted.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
