Structural Steel Primer Painter

Starting pay will depend on experience. Experience is NOT required, but a willingness to learn is. Applies primer paint to steel with spray equipment, handles heavy material with the use of overhead cranes and rigging, and loads material.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The temperature in the work environment is not regulated.

Knowledge of methods and techniques related to the safe use, storage and disposal of paint and cleaning products, chemicals, and safe cleanup techniques and practices.

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days will be:
Monday through Thursday from 7 am to 5:30 pm. Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm.
Lunch is from 12-1 pm.
