• Receive goods and verify the quality and count of all items unloaded from trucks and trailers; check against suppliers' counts and immediately report discrepancies to carriers, supervisor, and purchasing officer per company policy.
• Safely operate mobile equipment for unloading and transporting receivables.
• Understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures.
• Maintain minimum performance standards while performing required job functions.
• Perform the job with the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
• Work safely and abide by all of Takeuchi's safety rules and procedures.
• Unload inbound shipments safely and confirm any damages or shortages of shipment.
• Accurately sort, count, stock, and verify items received.
• Move shipments to designated staging area.
• Assist with physical inventories.
• Be detail-oriented, clean, and organized.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Be flexible and willing to cross-train in other warehouse areas.

• State motor vehicle operators permit for forklift operation highly preferred.
• Proven team player with multi-tasking skills.
• Proficient in reading skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Six months distribution center experience preferred.

• Moderate to heavy physical effort including sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, climbing steps or ladders, grasping, manipulation, reaching.
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds and operate machinery safely.
• Able to stand and work for long periods.
• Work in varying temperatures.
