You will be responsible for assembling and disassembling assembly parts, and you will use tools and equipment needed to perform operations in an industrial setting. You will contribute as a team player and communicate effectively.

  • Our job titles may span more than one career level. The hourly range for this role is between $18.50+ an hour.

What

do we want to know about you?
  • Able to work 1st shift hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
  • High School Graduate or GED.
  • 1+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
  • Ability to use tools and equipment needed to perform assembly operations in an industrial setting.
  • Good listening and communication skills.
  • Able to work well with others as a team player.
What will your typical day look like?
  • Assist in daily 5s and cleaning procedures.
  • Assist others in obtaining solutions to quality and production issues.
  • Other duties as may be required or assigned.
  • Assemble, test, and inspect according to engineering drawings and test codes.
  • Work with electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, and reassemble equipment that does not pass the test.
  • Maintain assembly and test equipment as required.
  • Move material to and from the workstation by hand, cart, and crane as required.
  • Adhere to all safety rules and procedures and maintain good housekeeping.

Environment

Work is performed in an indoor manufacturing environment with exposure to production activities including machinery, assembly operations, overhead crane usage, and forklift traffic. Personal protective equipment is required to prevent exposure to workplace hazards.

Mental Demands

Regularly required to use written and oral communication skills; read and interpret data, information, and documents; analyze and solve problems; use math and mathematical reasoning; observe and interpret situations; learn and apply new information or skills, and interact with other employees, customers, and vendors.

You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
