Ensure printers operate efficiently with required supplies available to produce aluminum cans at the highest quality standards to meet daily customer schedules.

• Safety & quality minded with willingness for excellence.
• Ensures all safety equipment, guards, and devices are always in place and follows safe work procedures and safety rules.
• Verifies proper setup of printer equipment, has the required tools in good condition.
• Operates the printer while checking for quality defects in the manufacturing process.
• Performs label design changeover setups.
• Performs timely quality control checks to ensure printer and related equipment is within specifications.
• Audits printer applications to ensure SOP specifications are met.
• Works effectively in a team environment and is self‑driven by working independently.
• Analyzes spoilage, records causes, and takes corrective actions where applicable.
• Performs preventative maintenance assignments.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports all problems to supervision.
• Follows all SOP operating procedures.
• Keeps the area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.

• 2-4 years manufacturing/production experience.

• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Access, etc.).

• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms; may be required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• May lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.

• Works in a plant environment but may perform some duties inside a typical office setting.
• May be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic.
• May be exposed to a wide range of temperatures.
• Noise level is frequently loud.
