Overview
Description:
To maintain cleanliness of facility.
- Performs duties safely.
- Clean, sweep, organize production, office and general areas within the manufacturing facility.
- Cleaning and Sanitizing:
Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of manufacturing areas. - Dispose of waste materials generated during manufacturing processes in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.
- Inventory Management:
Maintain adequate stock levels of cleaning supplies, PPE, and other consumables necessary for custodial duties. - Compliance:
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures related to cleanliness and sanitation. - Documentation:
Keep accurate records of cleaning activities, inspections, and maintenance tasks performed, and report any deviations or issues to appropriate personnel. - Team
Collaboration:
Collaborate with production staff, maintenance technicians, and other stakeholders to address cleanliness-related concerns and support overall operational efficiency. - Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Must be able to effectively communicate with outside sources in written and verbal formats.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and maneuver 200 lbs independently.
High school diploma or GED. Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and chemical safety protocols.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common journals, quality. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to follow instructions, in a logical order, given in oral, written, or diagram form. Ability to apply quality standards against product and determine if defective and degree of defect. Ability to compile gathered information. Ability to solve practical problems.
Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts and operations.
