Your Key Responsibilities- Validate, implement, and continuously improve production technologies to enhance quality, cost-efficiency, and robustness.
- Conduct validation of machines, tools, and manufacturing processes, ensuring readiness for production.
- Collaborate closely with operators, tool preparers, designers, and engineers during production, part development, and PPAP runs to optimize tooling and processes.
- Review and mark up, tool and in-process product drawings, to communicate necessary updates and improvements to design and print teams.
- Support production departments by facilitating hand‑over, providing training, troubleshooting issues, and assisting setup operators to minimize setup times.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for Near Misses and Quality Complaints.
- Lead informal training sessions for operators to share insights from root cause analysis and method improvements.
- Provide operational support by filling in for setup and operators as needed, ensuring seamless production continuity.
- Ensure strict compliance with Schaeffler Group USA, Inc.’s policies, plant rules, guidelines, and environmental health and safety regulations.
- Associate Degree in a Technical Field such as a Machine Tool technology or Industrial Technology or equivalent Manufacturing experience
- Computer literate with skills using spreadsheets, Project Management, Word Processor in the Windows environment
- Familiar with Project Management
