Overview

Production Support Specialist

Location:

Manning, SC

Schedule:

Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Olsten Staffing is currently recruiting for a Production Support Specialist in the Manning, SC area. This position provides administrative and operational support to Production and Planning teams to ensure efficient processing of finished goods and raw materials.

Responsibilities
  • Operate office equipment including copiers, scanners, printers, and computers.
  • Maintain inventory of Production Support supplies and request materials as needed.
  • Create and prepare schedule documents and approved labels for released schedules, prototypes, and samples.
  • Accurately enter data into NAV for completed work orders, material forms, email requests, and other required documentation.
  • Maintain an organized tracking system for schedules, labels, and supporting materials.
  • Distribute required documents and materials to Production in alignment with the production schedule.
  • Create, update, and distribute daily productivity reports.
  • Sort and scan completed work orders, material requests, inventory adjustments, and supporting documents to the appropriate shared drive locations.
  • Assist with cycle counts, discrepancy research, and inventory adjustments as needed.
  • Support documentation and printing needs for prototypes and update Production and Engineering teams on status.
  • Serve as a verification checkpoint for finished products released from Production.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong sense of urgency with excellent follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Flexible and able to multitask.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including typing and Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, vendors, and customers.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Positive attitude with strong work ethic.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This position operates primarily in an office environment. Occasional work in a warehouse setting is required, which is not climate controlled and may be hot during summer and cold during winter months. Physical requirements include the ability to hear, speak, reach, bend, twist, squat, push, and pull. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
