- What we’re looking for: A Team Lead who will be responsible to lead a team in a specific area in operations and coordinate department activities.
- Lead and direct manufacturing teams.
- Oversee SQDC (Safety-Quality-Delivery-Cost) and Lean responsiveness.
- Conduct daily huddle meetings focused on area performance.
- Interpret and ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Recommend and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
- Analyze and resolve work problems using the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) process.
- Act as a backup to perform group work activities when needed.
- Prepare and execute daily start-up plans.
- Update, implement and maintain cross-functional training matrix.
- Coordinate with manufacturing engineering to ensure on-time delivery to customers or internal customers through Kaizen processes.
- Conduct continuous level-load scheduling.
- Coordinate material scheduling and kitting to avoid shortages on the lines.
- Maintain 6S throughout the shift and operator PM checklists.
- Implement and sustain standard work procedures and visual boards and controls.
- Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers.
- Maintain efficiency levels to 90% or better.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- High school diploma or GED
- Over 3 years related experience
- Basic computer experience with MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, and basic AS400 or similar system knowledge
- 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred
- AS400 experience preferred

- Must be able to lift/pull/push 50 lbs. up to 50% of the shift.
- Must be able to stand/walk/bend/twist for prolonged periods up to 10 hours/day as needed per production area.
