Machine Operator

Overview

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a mechanically inclined laborer for a machine operator in Gaffney. In this labor intensive environment you have the opportunity to increase your hourly rate by operating new machinery. In this role, you will be responsible for operating machinery to manufacture paper and cardboard products. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below.

• Operate machinery to manufacture cardboard and paper products
• Ensure the product meets quality standards
• Use hand tools to troubleshoot or alter machines
• Operate computers to control the machines
• Use basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Change paper rolls and ink rolls

• Basic math skills
• Consistent work history
• Troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts

• Opportunity to increase hourly rate by learning and operating new machinery

7:00am-7:00pm, Monday-Thursday; overtime on Friday
