Overview

Are you looking to work in a climate-controlled facility? Do you hate steel toes? Openwork is looking for Textile Machine Operators for a textile company in Enoree, South Carolina. Openwork is seeking 2nd and 3rd shift machine operators. These are temp-to-hire positions for the ideal candidates. Must be willing to tour and interview before starting the position and train on 1st shift.

Starting pay is anywhere from $14-15.50/hr depending on the department plus $0.75. Climate controlled environment. No steel toes.

This role may perform all tasks involved in the production of the company’s products. This includes weaving, warping, winding, coating, cutting, sewing, baling, carding, drawing, and packing. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

Responsibilities
  • Pay Rate: $14-15.50 depending on the department, with a $0.75 weekly perfect attendance incentive (in all departments).
  • Hours:

    2nd shift 3:00pm-11:00pm, 3rd shift 11:00pm-7:00am or 12:00am-8:00am depending on department.
  • Must be able to train on 1st shift (7am-3pm or 8am-4pm depending on the department).
  • Set up and operate textile machines.
  • Feed raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines.
  • Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools.
  • Test the operation of machines periodically.
  • Fix issues that might occur during the shift.
  • Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws.
Qualifications
  • Stable work history.
  • Be able to work with little or no supervision.
  • Able to follow instructions.
  • Have a good attendance record.
  • Some machinery experience is helpful but not required.
  • Ear plugs are required while working.
  • Reliable transportation.
