VK Mop Operator

Overview

The primary purpose of this position is to utilize glue station equipment to manufacture mops both glued and unglued for internal and external customers.

• Meets regular and reliable work-site attendance requirements in order to perform the job and meet productivity standards.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and travelers for production orders.
• Completes production paperwork.
• Ability to operate the stations equipment.
• Ability to know and understand how to operate and trouble shoot glue station equipment.
• Understanding and following proper safety procedures on the glue stations.
• Perform quality inspection/measurements for each shop order.
• Gathering and loading of the necessary raw materials needed to complete the shop order.
• Participates in periodic training programs regarding safety, product specifications; quality; and operation.
• Participates and works within ISO  quality standards guidelines in accordance with Contec’s quality goals.
• Other duties may be assigned.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); no prior experience required.
