In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting the wastewater treatment facility and its processes. To be considered for this role, you will have a High School diploma or equivalent, and four years of on the job training. SC Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator"s license is required (Class

B). This is a very visible, direct hire opportunity with a growing company and has excellent upward mobility.

• Perform all aspects of sampling, monitoring and testing required to maintain compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations governing the wastewater treatment process.
• Perform daily checks of the wastewater treatment
• Assist in the performance of regular and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on all plant equipment and machinery.
• Overseeing accumulation and shipments of hazardous waste, water sampling, and handling of acids and bases.
• Ability to be on call to respond to emergencies and breakdowns and the facility.
• Maintain open communication with Plant Management regarding the treatment process as well as make recommendations for repairs and improvement to these systems.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Four or more years of on the job training
• SC Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator"s license, Class B required, Class A preferred
• Ability to handle heavy work required when doing construction work. Close visual attention required when repairing valves and working on furnace controls. Uses large, heavy tools. Often works in tight and awkward positions.
