Pipefitter - Traveling position

Location: Duncan

Join our team as a Pipefitter and play a key role in delivering high-quality industrial piping projects. In this hands-on position, you'll ensure safety and quality compliance, manage material and equipment deliveries, and support project documentation from start to finish. Ideal candidates have 4-6 years of experience in industrial piping installation, welding, or fabrication, and are confident reading blueprints, maintaining inventory, and collaborating effectively on-site.

What You'll Do

• Follow all CIMCO safety and quality procedures and help foster a culture of safety on-site
• Assist the Superintendent with preparing and coordinating site material and consumable deliveries
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite
• Receive, inventory, and document equipment and material deliveries; report any discrepancies
• Ensure welds are cleaned, stenciled, clear coated, and inspected daily
• Generate detailed weld maps and submit them to the Superintendent
• Verify project documentation is followed and assist with red-lined as-built drawings
• Perform material takeoffs and identify rental equipment needs as required

What You Bring

• 4-6 years of hands-on experience in industrial piping, welding, or fabrication
• Technical or vocational training in welding, fabrication, or a related field
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong understanding of safety and quality procedures
• Proficiency in material handling and inventory management
• Knowledge of welding techniques and quality assurance standards
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
