About the role:

You will report to the site Manager for the project.

The work locations will change. Primary location will be in the US and include some International locations depending on the assignment. Candidates must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

• Perform work of equal or lower skill level as required.
• Perform field machining using portable: drilling, boring, turning, grinding operations
• Set up and use of lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and precision grinding
• Use precision measuring instruments
• Read drawings, reference manuals, and assembly instruction guides
• Observe and follow the appropriate industrial safety and health programs
• Use portable: drilling, boring, turning, grinding operations as a minimum. CNC operated equipment preferred
• Three (3) years of work experience in a machine shop may be substituted providing that verification demonstrates the set up and use of lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and precision grinding
• Five (5) years of verifiable work experience in the trade (Millwright or Pipe fitter) may also be substituted
• Experience with precision measuring instruments
• Read drawings, reference manuals, and assembly instruction guides

• As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• two (2) years documented work experience with field machining
• Experience using portable: drilling, boring, turning, grinding operations as a minimum.
• CNC operated equipment experience
• Three (3) years of work experience in a machine shop may be substituted providing that verification demonstrates the set up and use of lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and precision grinding
• Five (5) years of verifiable work experience in the trade (Millwright or Pipe fitter) may also be substituted
• Experience with precision measuring instruments
• Read drawings, reference manuals, and assembly instruction guides
• Shift work, including overtime, may be required (am/pm)
• Personnel must pass training and be qualified to be assigned to the project
• Valid passport
• Required to pass high level background check, drug and alcohol screenings
• Commitment to Safety

• Lift 50-60 lbs.
• Work 12 hour schedule on nights or days as assigned.
• Periodically work 6-7 days per week on site assignment.

• Competitive Pay
• We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon qualifications, is estimated to be $72,800 - $110,000 annually.

Your work will include extensive travel (80%-90%) and working with and around hazardous materials.

This position is subject to the requirements of Westinghouse and customer security, unescorted access and fitness for duty programs at a nuclear plant location.
