Position

The Director of Clinical and Leadership Development (DCLD) supports the Vice President of Operations by providing leadership training and assistance to drive growth. This role helps prepare and present materials to secure contracts and expand business opportunities. The DCLD provides support to Program Directors, Clinical Supervisors, and Program Supervisors to maintain clinical integrity, ensure compliance, and foster profitable operations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, training, mentoring, and support to Program Directors (PDs), Clinical Supervisors (CSs), and Program Supervisors (PSs) to ensure program compliance, delivery of best practice, quality services, and profitability of each office.
  • Coordinate New Leader Orientation for new PDs, CSs, and PSs, including providing state-level operational support and training.
  • Train all PDs, CSs, and PSs as requested by Directors of Operations (DOs), including: assist in the implementation of new programs and services; provide leadership, mentoring, and support to ensure program compliance, delivery of best practice, quality services, and profitability of the office.
  • Complete and facilitate Site Support Plans with offices as needed. Coach PD to identify challenges and goals; develop timelines for completion of action items and assign responsibility for action items.
  • Promote and ensure an environment that encourages participation and implementation of PQI and the strategic planning process at all levels.
  • Develop a yearly audit schedule to support PQI expectations; attend regional treatment teams to show support and state-level leadership presence.
  • Assist DOs with MAR Review and provide feedback.
  • Participate in budgeting, strategic planning, state functions, and quarterly meetings as requested by the VPO.
  • Participate in COA re-accreditation, state and payor audits, and implementation of CAPs; support state with clinical decision-making, training, and policy reviews.
  • Participate in interviews for management positions as requested by the VPO; participate in on-call tree for CSs to support consultation.
  • Promote Leadership Development Training, including employee evaluation, recruitment, and retention; coordinate with state teams for training needs.
  • Attend state functions, weekly management calls, and quarterly meetings for PD, CS, and PS positions; plan and attend monthly calls and quarterly in-person DCLD meetings.
  • Assist new states in identifying, hiring, interviewing, and training new DCLDs; assist VPO in implementing new programs and services.
  • Collaborate with Implementation and Development Team to develop and implement clinical and operational training; meet monthly with state teams to assess state-specific training needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the VPO to support the mission operationally and clinically.
  • If professionally licensed: provide board-approved licensure supervision as requested by the VPO and as DCLD’s schedule permits; ensure credentials remain current and supervise staff appropriately.
