Overview
DASMEN Residential is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Vice President to oversee the daily operations, performance, and success of our portfolio of multi-family properties in Columbia, SC. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with experience in property management, team development, budgeting, and operational efficiency. This role ensures that each property under their supervision meets or exceeds occupancy, income, maintenance, and customer service goals.
Responsibilities- Lead, support, and oversee Property Managers across a portfolio of properties to ensure consistent operational success.
- Ensure properties meet or exceed occupancy, rent collection, and resident satisfaction targets.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase NOI and drive property performance.
- Monitor property budgets, expenses, and capital improvements to ensure financial targets are met.
- Conduct regular site visits and audits to assess maintenance standards, curb appeal, staff performance, and compliance with company policies.
- Provide ongoing training, mentoring, and performance evaluations for on-site teams.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal housing regulations and fair housing laws.
- Coordinate with marketing and leasing teams to develop and execute leasing strategies.
- Handle escalated resident concerns and issues professionally and promptly.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in property management, with at least 2 years in a regional, area, or multi-site management role.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Excellent understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and operational performance metrics.
- Ability to travel regularly within the assigned area.
- Proficient in property management software (e.g., Yardi, Knock) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
