Our Truck Service team, comprising nearly 3,000 technicians and spanning 280 locations nationwide, seeks an inspirational leader to oversee the Truck Service Profit Center, manage operations, and ensure exemplary customer service.
Job Responsibilities- Be a servant leader and inspire the team to meet and exceed company performance standards.
- Develop a trusting atmosphere that encourages feedback and manages performance.
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain highly motivated employees, creating a respectful and recognized culture.
- Coach the team in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy‑duty trucks and trailers.
- Conduct visual inspections to ensure product and service availability.
- Achieve financial objectives through effective people, product, service, and facility management, focusing on revenue and profit.
- Lead payroll, accounting, inventory, and personnel documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal laws.
- Adhere to safety standards and company operational guidelines, including vendor relationships.
- A leader who sets the example when working alongside team members.
- High School Diploma (or GED) required;
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred. - 5+ years of supervisory experience in convenience store, truck service, travel center, or related business activity.
- Proficient planning and analytical skills, understanding P&L, coverage ratios, budgets, and expense reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to present business action plans and operational reports to management.
- Flexible to work nights, weekends, and some holidays in all weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license required.
