IT Senior Project Manager
Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of project-oriented work efforts. Manage moderate sized work efforts, ensuring delivery on time, within budgeted hours, and high quality standards. Monitor project plans, assignments, and work efforts daily; ensure resource needs are assigned and escalated as needed; track key milestones; lead projects from inception to final business acceptance and implementation.
Key Responsibilities- 25% Develop, monitor, and sustain project plans, risk management plans, and documentation from scope to post‑implementation.
- 20% Identify items that impact scope, budget, risk, and resources; monitor resource requirements and assign resources to meet objectives.
- 20% Develop, execute, and maintain project communications; facilitate effective communication among all parties.
- 20% Identify impact of issues, manage project issues, communicate change implications.
- 15% Ensure appropriate audit documentation per ISSM standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication; advanced leadership; problem solving and conflict management; advanced analytical and organizational skills; strong understanding of project management principles, information systems, business processes, and organizational drivers; advanced competency in managing resources; ability to lead multidisciplinary high‑performance teams; negotiation skills, presentation abilities, strategic thinking, and proficiency in triple constraint analysis.
Required Software and ToolsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.
Work EnvironmentFast‑paced, dynamic environment requiring responsiveness 24/7 to support technical business needs. Flexibility to changing priorities.
Required EducationBachelor’s Degree or 4 years of related work experience, or 2 years of related experience plus an associate’s degree in any major.
Required Work Experience5 years IT experience in a leadership capacity, including 2 years leading two or more concurrent project teams. Completion of a Project Management training program may substitute for one year of experience.
Preferred RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
Preferred CertificationsPMP Certification.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday onsite and as needed.

- Strong technical, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Budgeting experience.
- Experience with agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Active professional certifications: PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, SAFe Scaled Agile Certification.
