Job Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the finance team at Nucor Building Systems South Carolina, located in Swansea, SC. The role is pivotal in guiding the division’s financial strategy, fostering collaboration across leadership, and ensuring excellence in accounting practices.

The Accounting Manager will:

• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, fixed assets, tax, financial and compliance reporting, forecasting, annual budgeting, monthly balancing, inventory management, and timely recording of accounting records.
• Implement, communicate, and interpret accounting and financial policies and oversee control and system improvements.
• Supervise external and internal audit processes to maintain proper internal controls.
• Provide analytical support to other departments on accounting issues and drive continuous cost improvements across all business facets.
• Lead, train, develop, and grow finance department personnel.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in a financial‑related position.

• CPA, CMA, Master’s Degree, or MBA.
• Manufacturing or cost accounting experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience.
• Microsoft D365 experience.
• Desire to pursue promotion.
• Open to possible relocation.
