Job Description- Job responsibilities include those listed in competency document.
- Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
- Maintains building components such as Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Hot Water, gas, Building Automation, Energy Management, and follows through to completion any required repairs maintenance and alterations.
- Ensure that all buildings and structures are well-maintained, including:
Ceilings, walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows, furniture, framework, drywall, and locks. - Achieves building maintenance operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, work order productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing risk assessments; identifying trends; managing energy efficiency, determining system improvements; implementing change.
- Responsible for reporting to the AHJ information including, but not limited to:
Fire Sprinkler Inspections, Emergency Eye Wash/Shower Inspecting, Water Quality, and Backflow Protection Reporting. - Meets building/mechanical maintenance financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Provides engineering support by responding to requests for mechanical problems.
- Complies with codes by adhering to requirements; advising senior management on needed actions.
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking material stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for material; reviewing and approving invoices.
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Updates engineering job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Ensure maintenance of all systems as required by applicable codes and standards.
- Ensure that personnel are trained, and supplies are available to keep all structures in good repair
- Monitor, maintain and repair equipment & utility systems and help to ensure performance indication logs are maintained.
- Review Work Orders daily and complete associated tasks/repairs by Type/Priority.
- Working weekends and different shifts and taking rotating call will be required.

Qualifications/Training:
In lieu of degree, a minimum of 10 years of experience maintaining commercial/industrial Building Maintenance. Must be able to demonstrate general computer data entry.
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education
- An Associate Degree from an accredited institution
- Due to insurance regulations, must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license.
- Valid EPA Refrigerant Recovery Certification.
