The Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at our Charleston Mill Services location in Huger, SC. The mechanic performs repair and maintenance on heavy-duty off-road construction equipment. This role offers career progression into leadership or management positions.

Pay: Starting at $24-$40/hour, depending on experience.

Shift: Training on days, then 4 on 4 off; 7-7 rotating days/nights.

• Follow safety regulations and maintain records
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment for repairs
• Inspect and diagnose malfunctions using schematics and diagnostic software
• Weld, cut, fabricate components
• Ensure customer satisfaction

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of off-road heavy equipment
• Experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, Tier IV emissions
• Physical ability to work in various positions and manipulate components
• Good communication skills and valid driver’s license
