Location: Piedmont

Schedule: Friday - Monday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Compensation: $22 per hour + $2 shift differential.

Responsibilities
  • Operate lift trucks and perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Load, unload, process, and store materials; reposition loading devices and secure loads.
  • Verify product receipt, inspect condition, and place items in correct storage locations.
  • Unload inbound carriers, verify counts, inspect product condition, and handle accurate storage.
  • Prepare preloads per orders, pick and stage products, scan and correct shortages or over‑counts.
  • Inspect trailers, count units, load products into trailers, arrange by loading guidelines, and secure loads.
  • Ensure reliable attendance and comply with safety, security, and company policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Essential Functions & Qualifications
  • Attendance: Adhere to schedule, arrive on time, and work required overtime during peak season.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate verbally and in writing; follow instructions.
  • Mathematics: Perform basic math, calculate rates, ratios, and percentages.
  • Language: Read, interpret, and write documents; understand directives.
  • Diversity: Work effectively with people of all backgrounds.
  • Relationships: Build and maintain work relationships with customers and coworkers.
  • Productivity: Meet or exceed production guidelines independently.
  • Paperwork: Accurately complete and verify necessary forms and documentation.

Skills & Abilities
  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
  • 1–2 years of related experience.
  • Basic scanner technology usage.
  • Valid State Driver’s License; forklift certification preferred.
