IT Healthcare Quality Assurance Tester

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Tester – Advanced to support ongoing initiatives within their Medicaid program. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high‑impact projects that directly enhance healthcare operations across the state.

As a QA Tester Consultant, you will:

• Perform functional, regression, UI, and negative testing on enterprise applications.
• Develop test plans, test scripts, and UAT processes.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
• Conduct quality assessments that reveal defects, security risks, and optimization opportunities.
• Create QA documentation, reports, and testing artifacts.
• Participate in walkthroughs, reviews, and inspections following established QA governance standards.

• 3+ years translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and scenarios
• 3+ years building test cases and executing test activities in test systems
• Ability to document, track, and report defects clearly and professionally
• Strong communication skills to articulate testing results to technical teams

• 5+ years testing large enterprise or e‑business systems
• Experience in healthcare operations
  , especially Medicaid
• Proficiency with JIRA
  , Confluence
  , and other Atlassian tools
• Prior work in SDLC methodologies
  , including Waterfall and Agile
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or related discipline
• Equivalent years of experience may substitute for formal education
