SQL Database Administrator W2

W-2 ONLY no subs no sponsorship

Migrating 300+ SQL Server Databases from SQL Server 2019 to SQL Server 2022 in addition to a need for Production Support in the current SQL DBA Team.

Work Location:

Position is Hybrid, however remote capability is very limited and the candidate should expect to be onsite five days a week. Remote days are based off of project needs and discretion.

Candidate location:
Resources must be local to South Carolina. The hiring manager is open to resources local to North Carolina if they will commute to Columbia, SC 5 days/week.

Work Schedule:

Weekend Hours and On Call Rotation is to be expected for project needs per the discretion of the manager.

• 5+ Years of Experience with SQL Server 2019 AND 2022
• 5+ Years of Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services
• 5+ Years of Experience with SQL Server Analysis Services
• 5+ Years of Experience with SQL Reports Designer
• 5+ Years of Experience with BI Tools and Design
• 5+ Years of Experience as an SQL Database Administrator
• 2+ Years of Experience working with State Government Agencies

• Data Domain Boost (DD Boost) to support backup and restore operations for SQL Servers
• Experience with Oracle 19 Database Operations
• Experience with Oracle Grid Control
• Experience with Erwin Data Modeler
