Security Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Analyst – Project Lead to serve as a subject matter expert in security administration, continuous monitoring, and incident response. This role operates within a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment and leads advanced security operations, investigations, and remediation efforts across on-premises and cloud-based systems.

• Serve as a subject matter expert in security administration and continuous security monitoring
• Perform advanced log analysis, risk analysis, and incident response, including investigation and remediation
• Operate within a SOC environment using SIEM, EDR/XDR, IPS/IDS, and related security tools
• Monitor, analyze, and report on SIEM and EDR/XDR event data

• Plan, implement, upgrade, and monitor security controls for LAN and cloud-based systems
• Utilize blue team tools and techniques, including SCAP Workbench, vulnerability scanning, and system hardening
• Demonstrate familiarity with red team tools such as Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit, and password-cracking utilities

• 4+ years of experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, and IPS/IDS platforms
• 4+ years of experience developing and maintaining security documentation
• 4+ years of experience with scripting or programming (C/C++, Python, or Power Shell)
• 4+ years of experience supporting Red Team and Blue Team operations
• 4+ years of experience administering Microsoft 365 Security tools

• Prior experience as a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst
• SQL and scripting experience for reporting and automation

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or another quantitative discipline OR equivalent relevant professional experience
