Your Role:
Systems Administrator
The Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining the company’s IT network, servers, and security systems. This role ensures reliable system performance, protects against vulnerabilities, and provides day-to-day technical support to end users.
You will work closely with the Technical Solutions Manager to maintain uptime, support users, and strengthen our IT environment.
What You’ll Do- Ensure 100% uptime on essential IT equipment
- Monitor and eliminate security vulnerabilities
- Monitor and verify system backups
- Provide technical support to end users (password resets, email issues, printer troubleshooting, network support)
- Maintain and configure corporate network infrastructure
- Configure and maintain network switches and wireless access points
- Configure laptops and desktops
- Set up and troubleshoot printers
- Deploy Windows updates and software updates
- Create clear technical documentation for IT and end users
Travel may be required a few times per year.
What You’ll Work With- Windows laptops and desktops
- Network switches
- Physical servers and virtual machines
- Office 365 and Exchange
- VMware
- Various hardware and software systems
- 2 to 4 years of relevant IT experience
- Hands-on experience installing and maintaining network and server infrastructure (switches, WAPs, SANs)
- Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Experience with Office 365, Exchange, and VMware
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and prioritize effectively
- Primarily office-based environment
- Frequent standing, walking, and computer work
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
- Occasional exposure to temperature changes in technical areas
