Power Platform Developer

Job Description

Pay Range: $63.60hr - $67.60hr

• The Power Platform Developer will be part of a team supporting the modernization of financial and administrative systems.
• This role focuses on designing, building, and implementing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dynamics 365.
• The Developer will collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather requirements, design scalable solutions, ensure compliance with security standards, and support deployment and post-go-live activities.
• This is an onsite role requiring adherence to agency IT standards and security policies.

• Design and build low-code business applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven).
• Develop model-driven applications including forms, views, dashboards, and Dataverse configurations.
• Customize and configure Dynamics 365 applications based on business needs.
• Automate business processes and approvals using Power Automate.
• Develop C# plugins and custom workflows for Dynamics 365.
• Implement JavaScript form scripting and advanced business logic.
• Create dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Integrate solutions using REST APIs, custom connectors, SharePoint, Azure Functions, and external systems.
• Perform ERP/CRM integrations and support data migration activities.
• Configure security roles, field-level security, and role-based access controls.
• Manage Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), including solution management, upgrades, and patching.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain applications, flows, and integrations.
• Support production deployments and post-go-live enhancements.
• Maintain system documentation and adhere to IT development and security standards.
• Assist with development of policies and procedures related to cybersecurity and information risk management.
• Provide technical guidance to functional consultants and project teams.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and IT teams to ensure successful implementation and operational support.

• 3+ years of experience with Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven).
• 3+ years of experience with Power Automate.
• 3+ years of experience with Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, security roles, and row-level security.
• 3+ years of experience with Dynamics 365.
• 5+ years of experience with scripting using Power Shell, JavaScript, and C#.
• 5+ years of experience with integrations using REST APIs, custom connectors, and SharePoint.
• 3+ years of experience with Power BI.
• 3+ years of experience with Azure Dev Ops.

• Experience with security and data classification related to CDC, HIPAA, or CJIS.
• Experience with NIST information security standards.
• Experience supporting modernization initiatives across the full SDLC.
• Experience working with ticketing systems for issue resolution.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
