TEKsystems is seeking a detail‑oriented and reliable Project‑Based IT Hardware Installation Technician to join our team for a 2‑month contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the physical installation, configuration, and testing of IT equipment at client sites. This role requires a strong technical aptitude, excellent problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

This will be supporting a TEKsystems client located on Kiawah Island, SC and is 100% onsite. Candidates within 30 minutes from Kiawah will be prioritized. This contract is only 2 months in duration.

• Deploy computers utilizing deployment software.
• Installation/replacement of computers and connecting any peripherals.
• Documentation of replacement computers for inventory purposes.
• Physical inventory of hardware.

• Experience in IT support, hardware installation, or a related technical field.
• Basic to advanced understanding of computer hardware components, operating systems, and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to work well under limited supervision.
• Have a valid driver license.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks associated with hardware installation.

This is a Contract position based out of Johns Island, SC.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Johns Island, SC.
