• Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle and Postgre
  
  SQL database software
• Monitor database performance and implement solutions to optimize efficiency
• Perform routine database maintenance tasks, including backups, restores, and recovery procedures
• Manage database security and user access in compliance with company policies
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, ensuring data integrity and performance

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator with a focus on Oracle and Postgre
  
  SQL databases
• Proven expertise in Oracle database administration, including RAC, Data Guard, and performance tuning
• Demonstrable experience with Postgre
  
  SQL administration, including replication and performance tuning
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

• Familiarity with cloud database services such as AWS RDS or Azure SQL Database
• Experience with database backup and recovery strategies and tools like RMAN for Oracle and / for Postgres
• Solid understanding of SQL, PL/SQL, and database scripting languages such as Bash or Python
