What You’ll Do

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Kubernetes Engineer to join our Open Shift/Kubernetes Platform team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our cloud-native strategy, collaborating with a talented team of engineers responsible for the reliability, scalability, and performance of our container platforms.

As a highly technical individual contributor, you will build, maintain, and optimize our Open Shift clusters hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure, ensuring a stable and efficient environment for our development teams.

Responsibilities
  • Platform Engineering & Operations: Contribute to the architecture, engineering, and day‑to‑day operations of our Open Shift and Kubernetes clusters on GCP and Azure, focusing on high availability, security, and scalability.
  • Service Reliability: Define, monitor, and meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Mean Time to Resolution (MTT) to consistently meet internal customer needs.
  • Automation & Efficiency: Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline operations, reduce manual tasks, and improve overall efficiency, enforcing best practices for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform or Ansible.
  • Technical

    Collaboration:

    Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to shape the platform’s technical direction and roadmap, aligning capabilities with business requirements.
  • Incident Response: Troubleshoot complex technical issues and contribute to post‑mortem analyses to prevent future occurrences.
  • Tooling & Development: Design, develop, and maintain tools and services to enhance reliability, observability, and manageability of our Kubernetes environment.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience: Typically 5 years as a Kubernetes Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or Dev Ops Engineer with a strong focus on container orchestration.
  • Deep expertise: With Kubernetes and Open Shift platforms, including cluster operations, networking, storage, and security.
  • Public cloud expertise: Hands‑on experience with GCP and Azure.
  • IaC proficiency: Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
  • Scripting & programming: Python, Go, Bash for automation and tool development.
  • Distributed systems knowledge: Microservices architectures, networking principles, and security best practices.
  • Monitoring, logging, & alerting: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog, or similar.
  • Problem‑solving & debugging: Excellent analytical skills.
  • Communication & collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills within a team environment.
