Job Description
An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within the insurance industry. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to discover and document business requirements and translate them to Oracle Insurance Policy Administration functional requirements. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Lead the charge on OIPA solution requirements definition and functional design for medium to large-scale implementations across insurance and financial services clients.
- Work in an agile environment to create epics, features and user stories to document business requirements and functional design.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business, architecture, and technical teams to ensure requirements are understood, and maintain a requirements traceability matrix.
- Collaborate with testing teams to ensure testing efforts align with defined requirements.
- Be the trusted advisor to client stakeholders—guiding decision-making, driving adoption, and ensuring every project delivers measurable business value.
- Shape the roadmap for success by contributing to planning, estimation, and delivery best practices that keep projects on track and clients delighted.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Business Administration or other related focus and/or equivalent job experience.
- 3+ years’ experience working on Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) implementations.
- Knowledge of life insurance or annuity products, underwriting, reinsurance and policy administration processes.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English and comfortable working in dynamic, client-facing environments.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
- Understanding of full insurance policy lifecycle
- LOMA certification
- A passion for insurance technology innovation and participation in industry forums or thought leadership initiatives.
- Experience project managing agile projects
- Agile certifications (ex. Scrum Master)

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US:
Hiring Range in USD from: $87,000 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment.
Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
