Security Architect / Security Identity and Access Management Engineer
Location:
Cayce, SC
Base pay range: $85.00/hr - $90.00/hr
DailyDuties & Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, including:
- Single Sign-On (SSO)
- Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
- Active Directory integration
- Secure application access controls
- Develop and implement automation solutions across security and enterprise IT platforms to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Plan, design, develop, and deploy enterprise security solutions aligned with organizational business objectives and risk tolerance.
- Design, deploy, and manage countermeasures for known security threats, while developing proactive mitigation strategies for emerging threats.
- Ensure consistent application of protective security measures across enterprise applications and infrastructure environments.
- Validate, measure, and continuously improve the effectiveness of security controls.
- Take appropriate actions to protect state data, systems, and technology services.
- 5+ years of expertise in automation development
- Python, Bash
- 5+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management
- Access control
- Logging and reporting systems
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience
- Security awareness and best practices
- 5+ years of experience with operating systems and networking
- Linux
- Windows
- Network security protocols and procedures
- 5+ years supporting large-scale IT environments
- Enterprise systems
- System deployments
- SIEM analysis and reporting
- Security frameworks and compliance standards:
- NIST
- CSF
- CJIS
- IRS 1075
- CMS MARS-E
- Application Security (App Sec)
- Experience with security logging and monitoring tools
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field OR
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience may be substituted in lieu of formal education
- Advanced security certifications:
- CISSP
- CISA
- CISO
- or equivalent
- Additional security certifications:
- CEH
- OSCP
- GPEN
- Vendor-specific certifications in:
- SIEM platforms
- Logging and monitoring technologies
