Analyst, Performance Load Test
ScopeNot looking for: I am not looking for a manual tester.
Responsibilities- Work closely with Analysts and team members to understand business requirements for a work request. Provide input to the System Designer and System Analyst on technical assumptions, constraints, approaches, risks, deliverables and estimates, particularly as they relate to load testing.
- Develop or oversee the design, coding, testing and debugging of automated load test scripts. Confer with user representatives and team members to gain knowledge of systems under test. Mentor and advise junior members of the performance testing team.
- Evaluate application system's stability and performance by reviewing monitoring data and making recommendations for improvement. Evaluate interrelationships of system components and design proper simulations to uncover potential bottlenecks across all system layers.
- Document success and failure of individual load test events and how they relate to historical data. Run statistical analysis and effectively communicate technical information and processes to relevant stakeholders (cross‑functional groups, clients).
- Analyze trends, results, capacity and utilizations of systems and participate in recommendations to system improvements and architectural revisions.
- Strong knowledge of software and system architectural concepts.
- Excellent understanding of system interactions from multiple perspectives.
- Proficiency in writing test cases/scripts and interpreting bridge and architectural diagrams.
- Strong negotiation and influence skills with business or technical partners.

USA residency requirement on background screening: residents must have lived in the U.S. for at least three of the last five years.
- On‑site presence highly preferred.
- Experience with cloud‑hosted application testing.
- Proficiency with Apache JMeter, Blaze Meter, Load Runner Cloud, Selenium Web Driver, Selenium Grid, JUnit, TestNG, SoapUI, Postman, Insomnia.
- Strong grasp of KPIs, metrics and testing types.
- Experience with performance monitoring tools and bug tracking systems (Test Rail, JIRA/Confluence, ALM).
- Understanding of AWS Cloud Watch Synthetics.
- Knowledge of lift‑and‑shift, re‑platforming, or cloud migration testing.
- Experience with REST/SOAP API testing, SQL, and test automation frameworks.
- Implementation of automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, AWS Code Pipeline).
- Familiarity with AWS services: EC2, IAM, S3, RDS/Aurora, Lambda, API Gateway, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, Code Build.
- Understanding of Dev Ops practices and cloud analytics pipelines.
- Experience with Git Hub Actions, version control, automated testing, and deployment workflows.
- Knowledge of AWS services:
Dynamo
DB, SNS, SQS, Step Functions, Artifact.
A typical day involves planning and executing test cases for the Connexion portal and other CMS‑hosted applications within the CMS Cloud (built on AWS). Tasks include using Test Rail to manage test plans, track execution, and document results; using JIRA for defect logging and Agile sprint alignment; collaborating with developers and business analysts in daily stand‑ups; and using Confluence for test documentation, user stories, and release notes.
The role also validates application behavior in cloud environments, supports compliance testing, and ensures all updates meet CMS security and performance standards before deployment. Additionally, it involves administrative and lead activities related to cloud testing and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field; or 4 years of job‑related experience; or 2 years of job‑related experience plus an associate’s degree in the field.
- 6 years of development experience, including 4 years in performance testing and tuning.
