Reporting to the Head of I.T, the Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for administering and maintaining existing production and back-office IT systems, whilst providing high level SLA’s. The selected candidate will also be responsible for accurately maintaining IT assets, procuring, tagging of IT hardware and co-ordinating with third parties. Will also help in the planning of new IT systems for internal use as well as for production purposes while always exercising a high level of professional conduct.

• Installing and configuring IT hardware operating systems and applications.
• Monitoring and maintaining all IT Systems and Networks.
• Assisting staff/clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues.
• Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving Hardware / Software faults.
• Ongoing Patching.
• Providing 2nd line Support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
• Monitoring and enforcing compliance with bank procedures and policies
• Onboarding and off-boarding of users.
• Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate);
• Co-ordinating with the team leader for the timely resolution of reported issues
• Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with the bank’s users, IT engineers, department managers, software developers and HR.
• Testing and evaluating new technologies.
• Conducting general maintenance pertaining to the IT Infrastructure

• Have Minimum 8 years’ experience working within an IT environment.
• In-Depth Hands-on Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies in general.
• Technical knowhow on Enterprise IT Equipment.
• Financial and Banking Experience preferable.
• Maltese Residency.
• Advanced Diploma or Degree in IT
• Microsoft / CCNA Certifications
• Fluent in English, Knowledge of Another Language (Spanish, Dutch, or German) – Welcome
