Morris Business Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Project Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and support of advanced technology solutions. This hybrid role combines hands‑on IT engineering with project leadership—ideal for someone who can conceptualize, build, and manage network environments from the ground up. You’ll work directly with ownership and cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions that help our clients achieve their business goals.

Key Responsibilities Project Implementation & Delivery- Plan, design, and execute IT infrastructure and systems projects, including network upgrades, server migrations, cloud deployments, and security initiatives.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Collaborate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to align project goals and technical requirements.
- Configure and deploy hardware, software, and networking components across client environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues during implementation and transition phases.
- Provide post‑project documentation, user training, and knowledge transfer to ensure smooth handoffs.
- Scope the safeguarding of company and client systems from data loss, attacks, and vulnerabilities.
- Develop, update, and enforce IT security policies and best practices.
- Monitor systems for compliance, patch management, and backup integrity.
- Lead new client onboarding and support for industry‑specific software.
- Maintain ongoing customer satisfaction and strong communication post‑project.
- Research and recommend emerging technologies that align with company and client objectives.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for internal processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in IT engineering or project implementation
- Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP), and cybersecurity
- Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
- Familiarity with MSP tools such as Connect Wise, CEOJuice, and FMAudit
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, PMP, CCNA) preferred
