Human Resources Generalist (Night Shift – Bilingual)
The Human Resources Generalist (Night Shift) provides on-site HR support within a manufacturing/plant environment and serves as the primary HR contact for second-shift employees. This role is responsible for employee relations, onboarding, policy enforcement, attendance tracking, and HR administrative functions. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), professional, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
ScheduleSchedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Hours may vary based on operational needs.
- Serve as the primary HR point of contact for second-shift manufacturing employees
- Communicate effectively with employees in both English and Spanish
- Support employee relations, including addressing concerns, interpreting policies, and escalating issues as needed
- Support disciplinary and corrective action processes in accordance with company policy
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and employment laws
- Partner with production supervisors and management to support workforce needs
- Prepare HR reports, audits, and documentation as required
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Perform additional HR duties as assigned
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
required - Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment
- Knowledge of employment laws, attendance policies, and HR best practices
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the plant and office areas
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work in a manufacturing/plant environment, including exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures
- Ability to use standard office equipment
