responsibilities

  • documents current work processes related to the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
  • documents current data flow through existing automated vacancy, applicant referral, and applicant selection systems.
  • reviews documentation related to the neogov system and performs gap analysis to determine what current processes would need to be modified in order for neogov to replace the existing automated vacancy, applicant referral, and applicant selection systems.
  • works with the state office of human resources and technical staff from neogov and the agency to identify integration points and develop interfaces between neogov insight and agency / state hr systems. Specifically, the agency would like to
    1) update neogov with position control data such as position number, title, location, etc from the agency / state hr system; and
    2) update the agency / state hr system with new hire information from neogov.
  • documents any mandatory functions that are outside the scope of neogov and makes recommendations for how to address these limitations.
  • works with hr staff to evaluate and improve current processes, establishing metrics to measure process improvement.
required skills
  • ability to conceptualize needed change and initiate appropriate activities to move from concepts to implementation.
  • ability to analyze business operations to determine opportunities for business process redesign and automation, and translate high level business requirements into functional specifications.
  • possesses an understanding of technological trends and uses this knowledge to develop integrated solutions to resolve highly complex technical and business issues.
preferred skills
  • requires mastery technical and business knowledge in multiple disciplines/processes to include management background. Typically possesses a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • recognized expert internally and externally within a discipline(s) and often provides strategic direction, guidance and integration of products and services.
  • knowledge of neogov and state sceis hr system.
  • knowledge of agency needs and ability to interpret rules and regulations.
