Responsibilities
Assists in the hiring process for SCDOT Headquarters (HQ) using Neo Gov system. Prepares advertisements and enters appropriate information into Neo Gov to fill positions and close requisitions. Drafts and post job listings in Neo Gov.
Assists in reviewing and screening qualifications to identify qualified candidates. Ensures candidates are properly dispositioned in Neo Gov system in alignment with compliance and process standards. Refers applicants to appropriate managers in HQ. Ensures that any under utilization provided by the Agency’s Affiantive Action Officer is provided to HQ Managers with the referral of the applications.
Provides timely feedback and updates to assist candidates and managers throughout the hiring process.
Assists in the Agency’s statewide recruiting effort. Assists with consulting HQ Managers, HQ Liaisons, District staff, and employees in regard to recruitment. Participates in job fairs and hiring events to recruit talent around the state. Maintains database of all internal and external recruiting sources.
Participates in special projects and initiatives within Talent Acquisition team as assigned. Assists in the onboarding process, ensuring new hires have a smooth transition. Performs other related duties as required.
QualificationsA bachelor's degree and six (6) months of relevant experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence. A valid motor vehicle operator's license.
