Join to apply for the Human Resources Generalist/Training Coordinator role at Albany International Corp.
Responsibilities- Perform whole-organization need assessments in collaboration with Plant Manager, HR, Management Team and subject experts.
- Support compliance of process consistency through internal audits of safety and quality procedures.
- Measure training effectiveness, cost and time, and report on activities.
- Deliver simplified Train the Trainer to new employees and provide coaching to develop instructional skills.
- Develop and maintain an annual training calendar detailing required training, responsible individuals and dates.
- Promote plant-wide training consistency when reviewing, revising and tracking qualification matrices, evaluations and related training records.
- Ensure Step 0 is included in all “how to” JIBS related to the job/tasks and encourage suggestions on improving work procedures.
- Prepares and finalizes hourly payroll and weekly/monthly reports per standard procedures.
- Interact frequently with employees at all levels and respond to concerns or opportunities appropriately.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.
- Self-starter with excellent organizational skills.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Industrial Safety Practices knowledge.
- Technical Writing Capability.
- Basic Analytical Skills.
- Knowledge of TPM, ISO 9001, Lean Manufacturing, Behavior Shaping Techniques, Hazard Awareness.
- High school diploma required; SHRM‑CP preferred.
- Experience in human resources functions and support to HR Manager.
- Compliance knowledge of federal, state and company requirements, including Sarbanes‑Oxley Act (SOX) requirements such as T22, T23, T24, T29 and T30.
- Experience with safety policies and ISO 9001 standards.
