Assistant Director of Food & Beverage – Task Force Operations Team
LocationRemote (virtual/remote location)
Department OverviewThe Task Force Operations team fills staffing gaps and meets additional staffing needs across North America. Travel is fundamental; flexibility is required to adapt to various assignments.
Position SummaryLead temporary hotel departments or teams. Collaborate with leadership to maintain brand standards, implement strategies, and drive success. Ensure guest satisfaction, financial stewardship, and team member engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, train, supervise, and schedule food and beverage staff, adhering to Hilton service standards.
- Develop menus and promotional campaigns aligned with market trends.
- Oversee outlet operations, addressing deviations from standards; conduct taste tests.
- Handle guest inquiries, accommodate special requests, and orchestrate unique arrangements.
- Collaborate with outlet managers for linen stock and cross‑department coordination.
- Analyze forecasts, costs, and revenue reports to guide profitability decisions.
Use Personal Protective Equipment as needed.
RequiredSkills and Abilities
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage operations and service techniques.
- Proficiency in mathematical calculations, including percentages.
- Physical activity: sitting, walking, climbing stairs, bending, reaching, gripping, pushing/pulling; lift up to 50 lb.
- Effective communication in English, both verbal and written.
- Stress management under high demand.
- Computer proficiency for information access and input.
- Schedule flexibility to match hospitality demands.
- 5+ years of food and beverage operations management preferred.
- Food Service Sanitation certification;
Alcohol Service Permit if state requires; CPR preferred.
