Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2

• Every other weekend requirement (12 weekend shifts during contract)

• May be placed on call for low census but no additional call shifts required

• May float to MICU or other departments as needed when census is low

• 2 years of ICU experience required

• First-time travelers accepted

• South Carolina or Multi State/Compact RN license required

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

• Equipment experience preferred: CRRT - Prismax

• Royal blue scrubs required

• Epic charting system

• 12 hours of orientation provided

• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)

• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

• Care for adult and geriatric patients with primarily cardiac diagnoses

• Work in 4-bed CICU with plans to expand to 16 beds

• Experience with specialized equipment including Impella, IABP, CRRT, and Flo Trac monitoring

• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)

The facility maintains modern equipment and technology to support complex cardiac interventions and critical care procedures. The organization provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
